2–3 jours sont parfaits pour explorer la Vieille Ville médiévale (Patrimoine UNESCO), le quartier de Kalamaja, le Palais Kadriorg, le Musée d'art Kumu et le front de mer.
Juin–août offrent de longues journées, des festivals médiévaux et une atmosphère animée. Le printemps et l'automne sont tranquilles et pittoresques. L'hiver transforme la Vieille Ville en un véritable conte de fées avec des marchés de Noël.
La Vieille Ville est entièrement agréable à pied. Les tramways et les bus relient les quartiers plus éloignés. Le centre historique est si compact que vous aurez à peine besoin des transports en commun pour voir les principales attractions.
La Vieille Ville médiévale (Vanalinn) avec sa place de l'hôtel de ville, la tour Kiek in de Kök, le quartier branché de Kalamaja, le Palais Kadriorg et les vues depuis la colline de Toompea sont incontournables.
