Tokio tiene uno de los mejores sistemas de transporte del mundo. Consigue una tarjeta Suica o Pasmo para viajar sin problemas en metro, trenes JR y autobuses. El metro funciona desde las 5h hasta medianoche.
Los viajeros con presupuesto moderado pueden gastar 15.000-25.000 JPY (100-170 EUR) al día. El ramen de calidad cuesta desde 900 JPY y el sushi Michelin desde 4.000 JPY en el almuerzo.
No es difícil. Las estaciones de metro tienen señales en inglés, los anuncios son bilingües y Google Translate funciona muy bien para menús. Aprender 'sumimasen' (perdona) y 'arigatou' (gracias) es suficiente.
5-7 días mínimo. Shibuya, Shinjuku, Asakusa y Akihabara merecen cada una un día completo. Los vloggers recomiendan añadir excursiones a Kamakura o Nikko.
Desde Narita: el Narita Express (NEX) llega a Tokyo Station en 60 minutos por 3.250 JPY. Desde Haneda: el Tokyo Monorail llega a Hamamatsucho en 13 minutos o la línea Keikyu a Shinagawa en 15 minutos.
