La metropolitana (4 linee), il tram e l'autobus coprono tutta la città in modo efficiente. Il centro storico è gradevole a piedi. Il Duomo è a pochi minuti dalla Stazione Centrale in metro. I treni ad alta velocità collegano Roma, Firenze e Venezia.
Il Duomo e la sua terrazza, la Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, l'Ultima Cena di Leonardo da Vinci (prenota con mesi di anticipo), il Teatro alla Scala, il quartiere di Brera e il Castello Sforzesco sono imperdibili.
