In 2021, we decided to leave the US and move to Europe (Athens, Greece 🇬🇷) Maria was born in the US 🇺🇸 to a Greek-American mom and a Greek dad, she was raised in Greece (6 mo. - 14 years old). At 14 she moved back to the US where she spent the next 14 years between Chicago and Los Angeles. Olivia was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan 🇺🇸 to an English 🇬🇧 mom and an American dad 🇺🇸. She quickly realized her passion for travel and so at 19 she decided to au pair in Rome, Italy. That was it, she knew that one day she wanted to live in Europe. In 2019 Maria and Olivia met, and two years later they left the 9-5 lifestyle. Maria sold her financial advisor business, and with those proceeds and Olivia’s savings, they moved to Europe to travel. When the savings ran out, they became freelancers. Maria works in finance and Olivia is a writer. Every penny they make goes to basics and travel.
