Charles Bridge is magical at 6am with fog — by 10am it is a selfie traffic jam. Old Town Square at night is equally stunning without the daytime crowds.

FAQ
Prague is very safe. Watch for pickpockets in Old Town Square and on trams. Avoid unofficial currency exchange booths — they have terrible rates.
3-4 days covers the highlights well. Vloggers suggest 5 days if you want to explore beyond the tourist center.
Old Town (Stare Mesto) puts you walking distance from everything. Mala Strana is quieter and very atmospheric.
Prague is affordable compared to Western Europe. Budget 50-80 EUR/day. Beer is cheap, restaurants near the center can be touristy and overpriced.
Charles Bridge at sunrise, Prague Castle, Old Town Square with the Astronomical Clock, the John Lennon Wall, and a Vltava river cruise. Try trdelnik and Czech beer in a local pub.
Airport Express bus (AE) goes to the main train station in 35 minutes for about 2.50 EUR. Bus 119 connects to Nadrazi Veleslavin metro station. Taxis cost around 25-30 EUR.
